A frontline Governorship aspirant ahead of the 2021 governorship polls in Anambra State under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Godwin Maduka says collective efforts is a sure way to good governance.
Dr. Maduka made the remark at a rally held on his behalf at Dr. Godwin Maduka Foundation Office in Awka Anambra State.
He explained that through collective efforts sound minds, would be entrusted with public offices to guarantee good governance.
Dr. Godwin Maduka who is a first rated Medical Doctor based in Las Vegas, United States however advised electorates and politicians to go for the best who have the interest of Ndi Anambra at heart.
According to him “this is not war. You should understand that when you have democracy and using democratic process you have to go with the best whosoever that maybe and the best is not in being good looking, not the best in education”.
“The best is whoever that can come up with ideas that will make a change. People who have been tasted, people who have been through life, people who have done it before without being a governor”.
He also reacted on the leadership style of the incumbent Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano
“Let me tell you something about governance. When it comes to governance, being governor, including those of us who want to be governor, there is no book for governance”.
“So when it comes to governance, people govern from what they know so I don’t think we should criticize anybody. But one thing that will make a change, governance should not be left for one individual”.
Dr. Godwin Maduka a technocrat and a notable philanthropist and no 8 out of 10 top most African American Doctors noted that Anambra State must be transformed.
