The Catholic Women’s Organization, St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Kpirikpiri, in Ebonyi state, has honoured the wife of the Member representing Ezza South and Ikwo Federal Constituency, Mrs. Mary Chinedu Ogah for her distinguished life, doggedness to the church and society.
Honoured with “Osodieme” of the Organization, Mrs Ogah was said to have complemented her husband’s gesture in the development and empowerment of youths and women in the society.
The Award is part of the 2021 Mothers’ Day Celebration of the Church.
Mrs Ogah expressed appreciation to God Almighty for His grace and said that the Award would inspire her to be more dedicated to God and services to humanity.
She noted that the award would also spur her towards more empowerment of women and youths across the State.
She thanked the Catholic Women Organization of St Patrick Catholic Church KpiriKpiri and dedicated the award to her family and supporters.
Family members, friends, well-wishers, Ikukuoma Women Assembly and Hon. Ogah’s supporters turned up in large numbers to identify with the Awardee and to congratulate her including her husband, Hon. (Comr) Chinedu Ogah.
As a federal Lawmaker, Ogah has secured appointments for over 100 youths in the state.
